In our garden there is no natural lake. But in the shelter there are many inundating birds and waterbirds. The peculiarity of them is that many of them are single-winged, they have problems with balance, which means that a deep lake does not suit us.
Last year, my husband dug a small lake for birds. But it looked very aesthetic. In addition, the banks are constantly blurred.
Then there was an idea to strengthen the shore with wooden stakes.
Here is the result. The lake looks much more aesthetic and the birds are happy.
