Who wants fresh picked Strawberries?
Besides the Strawberry plants that we recently received as a gift from one of our neighbors, we also had a few ever-bearing Strawberry plants already. Some types of Strawberries are june-bearing Strawberry plants. That type will bear Strawberries once, in June, or around there. The plants will flower and fruit, and then have to wait for the next year before they produce again.
Ever-bearing Strawberry plants flower and bear fruit for the entire growing season, and ours have started already. Just look at how seriously Monster Truck the Pepper takes his Strawberries.
Yes, just like many other kinds of food that we grow, Strawberries are a very serious business around the @papa-pepper homestead. Just kidding!
While some plants here are still being planted, others are already producing. Here's to a long growing season and a bountiful harvest! Steem on!
