Places for nature's insects to hide in.

Just as many plants rest over the winter period, many of our benificial insect seek places to hide during this time.

Ladybirds, beetles and many more like to find places that will not be disturbed during this time.
We can help by leaving old logs in the garden where they can become a winter resting place for our garden friends.

"Air plants" also make wonderful hide aways as do rockery gardens where lizards can hide in the crevices.
The less one disturbs the garden, the more benificial insects will stay and come spring, will get to work alongside us and keep the balance in the garden.
