Good evening from rainy Serbia!
Yes, today was another rainy day but I was lucky enough that rain didn't caught me during my 9km walk. Few hours after I got up, I felt like going for a walk - you know that feeling of urge to do something randomly. The place along the Danube river where I wanted to go is not that close to my house and since the sky was covered in dark grey clouds, I almost gave up on the idea of leaving house.
But for some reason, I couldn't stay still and I went anyway. I packed a few things in my small backpack, put some comfy clothes on and a hat and went for it. I also used an app to track the number of kilometers and time. I walked for 8.99km (what a number) in 2 hours, this includes small breaks, I just couldn't be bothered pausing the app every time I stop to take a short video or something like that. I did pause it when I came to the river.
Somewhere along 1/3 of my walk, a stray dog started following me. He was a little bit scared at first but still came with me to the river and all the way back to my house. Unfortunately, I had to leave him outside the gate and I gave him some water feeling so bad that I cannot keep him because he was so well behaved and cute and so sweet, I'm sure we would be best friends. Maybe an hour after I came home, the rain started and it's still raining (it's 10pm now). If it continues to rain like this during the night, I'll swim in my backyard tomorrow, haha.
Anyways, I want to express my gratitude for today's friend I made, I swear most of the times I like animals, dogs especially, more than people. I am also grateful that I went for a walk when it wasn't pouring, that wouldn't be enjoyable at all.
