Thanks to @anniversary I was kindly reminded that on this day one year ago I joined this community.
I still remember that feeling I had as I was writing my first post. It took me hours to publish it. I would write it, delete it, write it then delete it again... I was so close to not post anything and leave Steemit before I even started. I am SO grateful that I pressed that Post button. I thought that nobody will notice my post but in just few minutes first comments popped up. That kind and amazing welcome was so overwhelming and it's what kept me coming back. Post after post, I got more comfortable with sharing my life and thoughts.
Now looking back at the past year, all I can say is thank you! Thank you for following my journey and supporting me. Thank you for inspiring me and teaching me. I've learned so many interesting and useful things from you and your posts. I've read so may incredible posts and witnessed some amazing projects on this platform.

I can honestly say that in the last couple of months I've made some real friends from all over the world, especially on the #gratefulvibes Discord chat where we talk to each other daily. One thing I love about Steemit is that people from all over the world, people of different ages and backgrounds come together and support each other!
I feel so blessed to be part of this community and I am grateful for the friendships I made. I will do my best to be more active and support other Steemit users and projects because I feel like I should give back more.
