Last night was fun! One of my best friends Olja passed her last exams last week, so this weekend we were celebrating! She threw a little party at her place so we gathered despite the rainy and gloomy weekend.
Of course, football could not be left out since it was a very interesting game between Russia and Croatia so some people were watching football in one room and the rest of us were in the other room, listening to music, making toasts for Olja and taking pictures. Some of us would run down the hall when we hear screaming and shouting meaning somebody scored or at least they were close to do so. :)
Once football was over and everybody's attention was there, Olja opened a very old bottle of Jack Daniels, saved for this special occasion. It didn't took long until Johnny Walker was opened too. :D I have never tried any of those two drinks since they are too strong for my taste, I guess, and I do not enjoy drinks like this.
So last night was quite fun, I came home around 2am. I am so happy for Olja and it was nice to see people gathering around to celebrate her success! I spent this Sunday reading a book the entire day (The Rice Mother by Rani Manicka) until I finished it recently. The book has 450 pages and I've read about a third of it on this rainy day.
