Hi all Steemitians, today i am gonna share about a place for hiking in Sabah. Last months before i join Steemit, i followed my friends to Telipok for hiking.
Name : Nuluh Lapai, Telipok (Sabah)
Activities : Hiking, photography
Altitude : 1164m / 3819 ft
Level of difficulty : Easy
How to get there : We depart from Kolombong all the way up to Telipok tooks around 20 - 30 mins driving, Then it’s only a couple of hundred metres from Bukit Tirig – drive past INTAN Sabah and you’ll see a signage directing you to the Nuluh Lapai junction.
When we all arrived there, its was early morning. And alots of mosquitoes already gave me 'morning kiss'.
Pictures took at Mengkabung Bridge, Nice view of Mount Kinabalu
After the view of sunrise, its time to start our engine for hiking. The starting point is located right opposite of Gayang Seafood Restaurant, Jalan Sulaiman.
No entrance fee needed and just some advice, bring along a mosquito or insect repellent, or wear long pants because it seems that this place has more insects than any other hills.
The trailed we chosed the most easy way as we are first time hiking.
There were 2 trails to choose from, the shorter one (slightly less than 1km) and the longer one (about 1.2km). Estimated time to reach the peak with either trail is about 30-40 minutes.
Sepanggar view
There will be a small hiding place for rest
Must have a selfie first...
