With or without the yolk?

There’s so much hype about eating just the white of the egg, yup that’s right throw away the nice big yolk! I didn’t quite understand, so decided to turn a blind eye & carry on with my whole egg. It wasn’t until recently, when I started taking even more notice about my foods and calorie intake that I decided to look into egg whites. Low & behold, I’ve been converted!

So why did I change my mind, and take the dip? The benefits are endless, low calorie, low cholesterol… And you can buy cartons of just egg whites!

The benefits

0% fat & cholesterol
The White of one large egg only contains approx 17 calories, opposed to a whole one of 70+ calories
Eggs are a great source of protein, however this mainly comes from the white
Don’t worry, you don’t have to waste food and money you can buy egg whites in powder or as I prefer, carton.

Two chicks, egg whites I’ve been looking into different recipes using these egg whites, below is my favourite so far!
