This is my seventh daily ice cream post! As announced in one of my recent posts, I will keep you updated with my daily healthy vegan ice cream recipes. And today it is precisely a week since I started this delicious ice cream habit! 😀
This time, I made a strawberry cocoa ice cream with a piece of chocolate.
Ingredients
You need 400g of strawberries 🍓, a ripe banana 🍌 and 2 tablespoon of unsweetened and defatted cocoa powder. You also need some dark vegan chocolate. 🍫
Preparation
- It's as easy as it gets. First, freeze the strawberries 🍓 and the chopped up banana 🍌 for at least 8 hours.
- Put them in a heavy duty blender or a food processor.
- Also put two tablespoon of cocoa powder into the processor.
- Blend everything until it is smooth and creamy.
- Put a little piece of chocolate on top if you like. 🍫
There you have it! 😀

P.S.: Unsweetened and defatted cocoa powder is a very healthy source of cocoa bean antioxidants. If you use even more cocoa powder, the outcome will be a delicious and decadent chocolate ice cream that will wake you up.
