Hello Hiveans! I have never introduced to you the hero of my life and here he is the love of my life ~ My Abah (Abah is a Malay word which means Dad). He is 84 years old.
This photo was taken before the lockdown was enforced again which is currently still ongoing in Malaysia. I got to see him one last time before this lockdown and he was so happy when I took him out for a simple meal, just looked at that innocent happy face. It is actually very easy to please my dad. He just wants me to see him and will always be so happy when I got to meet him. We lived in different states so the lockdown has been difficult for me to go and visit him as interstate travel is strictly not allowed. I really missed him a lot.
My dad lives alone on his own after my mother passed away many years ago and my heart aches every time I left him there, after visiting him. He loves living in the village and refused to follow me to the big city and I can only oblige to his request. Once in a while, I would bring him over to stay overnight in my house and he will only agree to stay for one night. Oh, Abah! I pray that one day you will change your mind.
