Who can resist those Saucy and Sticky Wings at the party, even though you know you're going to end up with equally sticky cheeks and very sticky fingers!
These Sticky Honey Mustard Wings are truly finger licking good, so you know what you'll be doing to clean those fingers :)
However, you will need loads of serviettes and a bowl of warm water for those sticky cheeks, but the taste and texture would have been so worth it; Tangy, Sweet, Slightly Charred, Sticky, Saucy and Absolutely Delish!
The Marinade
The very first thing you will need to do with your wings is to marinade them; I used:
- Fresh Lemon juice
- Lemon Rind
- Fresh Thyme & Sage
- Crushed Garlic
- Favourite Barbeque Spice
- Olive Oil
Prepping the Wings
Cut the wings into 3 sections like this:
Marinade for at least two hours in total.
Pack into roasting pan and bake in a very hot oven at 190°C till crispy.
Basting Sauce
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1 tsp hot Mustard Powder
Baste cooked wings with sauce and bake till the edges starts to char.
Ready, Steady, Go...and you're all set to party; just don't forget those serviettes and bowls of hot water for your guests though :)
