
Hello dear friends in Hive, I hope you are all well. I am here again with my recipe from my country to share with you all.
This is stir fried bell peppers with lemongrass for Hive Top Chef π©βπ³. It's my favorite dish and I make it vegan recipe.

Stir Fried Bell Peppers Lemongrass


Ingredients
- 1 block tempeh
- 1/3 cup soya chunks
- 2 bell peppers
- 5 green chilies and two red chilies
- 1/3 cup roasted peanuts
- 3 lemongrass stalks
- 1 small piece turmeric
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 small piece galangal
- 2 lime leaves
- a little tulsi
- 1/2 tsp salt or to taste
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp soy sauce

Cut tempeh and fry it. Crush peanuts only 30%. Put soy chunks in water 5 minutes then take outside. Usually I use kaffir lime leaves but Suriname not have it.

Step 2Chop lemongrass, turmeric, garlic, lime leaves, galangal, chili and grind it very well.Add water a little itβs easier to work. | ![]() |
Step 3After grinding. | ![]() |
Step 4Heat oil, add spice paste and fry it until aromatic. | ![]() |
Step 5Put soy chunks stir-fry it a little. | ![]() |
Step 6After put salt, sugar, soy sauce stir-fry a little. | ![]() |
Step 7Then put bell peppers stir-fry it. | ![]() |
Step 8Stir-fry it a few minutes. | ![]() |
Step 9After put fried tempeh and stir-fry it little. | ![]() |
Step 10Then put crush peanuts and stir-fry it. | ![]() |
Step 11Finally put tulsi and stir-fry it little.Itβs ready. | ![]() |
