Some photos of a carpenter bee (Xylocopa of the subfamily Xylocopinae) for #hivestockimages. I saw it was hovering before landing on a wildflower. I often found some of them spending time around the grassland. It's a black carpenter bee that is usually seen during the daylight. These photos were taken with DSLR Nikon D7000.
