Being at the location where these pictures were taken, I feel like I have been attacked by conflicting ideas. The forest with its soft greenness and fertility, the rock with its hardness and aridity, the sand with its fine grains, the sea which is a powerful salt liquid, and another one, which cannot be seen, is the wind, which with an invisible force, does erosion, and at the same time, pollinating (Anemophily). These seem like contradictory ideas which, after going through a dialectical process, produce a final stage, a synthesis, and that is the landscape seen in these pictures.
These pictures were taken in Lhong district, Aceh, northwest of Sumatra island.
