Hive Stock Images - Herbs & Spices

I continue to be amazed at some of the initiatives to help Hive grow into an even more amazing platform by the many individuals and communities.
One I'm really excited about is the gathering of a Stock Image Library for Hive users by @minismallholding and @naturalmedicine.

As an amateur cellphone photographer, I do manage to sometimes get fairly good shots and am more than happy to share it here with the bizzy bees of Hive.
All that is asked is that you credit the photographer - @lizelle in this instance;)

Wouldn't it be nice to see your images being used by fellow Hive members as well?

To top it all a not too shabby bounty is to be won by adding Natural Medicine images to the Stock Images community in Share Your Natural Medicine Images to Win!

Herb Fennel 20200421_080315.jpg
Fennel in full blossom.
Crush Fennel and you get the aroma of Aniseed - the bulb can be used in soups and stews, but Fennel makes gorgeous garnishes.

Rosemary is known as the Rememberance herb, is great with Lamb or Potato wedges; and who does not enjoy a Sage & Onion stuffing in the Sunday roast!

Thyme & Mint
Thyme can be used in many dishes, but my favourite still is in Lemon & Herb Roast Chicken.
Mint on the other hand really is great in cool summer cocktails & smoothies as well as in salad dressings.

Nasturtium
Nasturtium leaves and flowers are edible, has a nice peppery flavour, is great in salads, sandwiches and as a food garnish. This also is nature's own natural antibiotic.

Lavender flowers
Lavender oil is extracted for Aromatherapy. The flowers are dried and used in pot pourri and cosmetics, a very soothing herb.

I do hope someone will find use for some of these images, but please remember to credit the photographer, and do check out the POST by @naturalmedicine to read more about sharing your own images with the Hive community.
