I am sharing my drawing/illustration of a kid giving a pose.
I just start drawing with nothing in my mind.

Adobe Illustrator 2019
Steps :
Below you can check step-wise images of my working
Start with a ellipse tool for face shape
Take a rectangular shape and create half body using pen tool
Create arms, hand and show for the character
Move the face shape a little down and give my character a hat using pen tool
Give him hair style, glasses and create nose, lips etc
After that I give it colours and you can see the first image as my final piece.
