The photos that I publish today, were taken yesterday at the “golden hour”, i.e. just after the sunset. In the images you can see an interesting and beautiful gradient of the yellow color between the sky and the sea. All the photos were taken at Antofagasta (Chile). The ships located at the bay worked as foreground in the first two photos.
Las fotografías que comparto en esta oportunidad fueron tomada ayer durante el ocaso en Antofagasta (Chile), cuando el cielo junto con el mar mostraron un gradiente (variación continua de las tonalidades) del color amarillo muy llamativo y digno de ser fotografiado. Como es costumbre había buques de carga anclados en la bahía que servían para romper la monotonía de la imagen.
The first photo shows a silhouette of a cargo ship. In spite that it is in its natural color, the image is monochromatic, due to the yellow gradient. A similar effect can be seen in the second photo.
La primera fotografía muestra una silueta del buque. A pesar de ser tomada en su color natural, la imagen realmente es tono monocromático ya que muestra una gradación continua del amarillo ocre.
La segunda imagen presenta otro buque adicional, cabe destacar que el gradiente del color es mas extenso que en la primera.
In the foreground of the third photo there is a yellow fence that gives an interesting effect of the fugue point. At the background of the image, there is the silhouette of the mountain called Cerro Coloso.
The three photos were taken from the same place using the three different lenses of the Samsung Galaxy S20, the tele-objective (3x), the regular lens (1x) and the wide angle lens (0.5x). All the photos were edited using Gimp.
La tercera y última imagen muestra una valla o muro (también de corolor amarillo) que sirve de separación del paseo peatonal de la costanera con el mar, al fondo se puede apreciar la silueta del Cerro Coloso. Esta valla da un interesante efecto de punto de fuga. Las tres fotografías fueron tomadas desde el mismo lugar usando los tres diferentes lentes del Samsung Galaxy S20, es decir el teleobjetivo 3x , el lente regular 1x y el gran angular 0.5 x. Todas las fotografías fueron editadas usando Gimp.
