Do you adore food trips to the point of obsession? Are you ready for a culinary adventure? Have you tasted the local cuisine in every nation you've traveled to?
Hello and Welcome to my Food Blog!
I will be sharing my own experience at a restaurant where I recently dined. I am fond of Korean cuisine particularly "samgyeupsal". Oh btw, I want to make it clear that I am not a KPOP or Kdrama fanatic. 😂 However, I have seen some interesting Korean drama films in the past. 😊
Anyways, this is my first time to try Miss Korea Restaurant in Amsterdam, an Eat-All-You-Can Buffet Restaurant located in the heart of the city center.

What To Do:
It is highly recommended to make a reservation due to the current pandemic condition and increase demand.
Lockdown is now in effect in the Netherlands, but might be possibly extended until the end of the year.
Current lockdown Opening Hours of Miss Korea Barbeque is from 12 pm to 5 pm. They normally open from 5 pm to 10 pm but due to the strict implementation of government brought on by the pandemic, they have to adjust and make changes to the store opening hours.
Buffet Cost: 37 euro per person
Pandemic Rules:
- Secure a QR Code. Generate it at Coronacheck App for reliability. Individuals who are vaccinated can easily access directly to the App without a hassle. Unvaccinated individuals need proof of negative corona test results either antigen or PCR test.
Wearing your mask in any indoor public place is mandatory.
If you have symptoms of corona: stay home.
How to get there:
The Fastest Way to get there from Amsterdam Centraal Station is riding a metro. It would take 5 minutes trip and 3 minutes walk to arrive at the restaurant.'
Miss Korea is located in Amsterdam at Albert Cuypstraat 70. It will take you 46 minutes to walk the 2.9 kilometers on foot. Hence Amsterdam is knowns as the Cycling Capital of the World; if you travel there by bike, it will take you 11 minutes.

Authentic and Unlimited Korean Food at its Finest
I dine here together with my friend because we are craving for Korean food, we miss eating samgyeopsal style and because we are a foodie, so we decided to try the Eat-All-You-Can Korean cuisine in Amsterdam.
You are allowed to order 3 servings per person per round. After 10 minutes, you may order another batch of food you prefer.
This means we get 3 of any of the dishes whether it is barbeque, snack, soup, or dessert at first. After that, you can continue ordering another batch of dishes you like. It is electronically done. They will hand you a device that will automatically register in the system based on the option you choose.

To eat samgyeopsal the Korean way: begin by taking a piece of lettuce, put any combination of meats, add side dishes such as kimchi, spicy radish, spicy cucumber salad, seasoned bean sprouts, afterward, put a little bit of sauce, finally fold and wrap it with the lettuce.

Here are the second batch of our orders. The Galbi Tang Randemb soep (short rib beef soup) and Yukgaejang-Pittige Runder groentensoep (spicy beef and vegetable soup) are a must-try!!

Ended up with a healthy green-tea dessert. I am happy to taste this flavour for the first time! 😍

The Menu
Here is the list of everything you may expect to see on the menu. I captured pictures so you can see how it looks when you place your order.

Restaurant Food Rules:
The Atmosphere

The place has a warm and friendly feel to it. Interior design that is both spacious and basic. Although there are many natives, I don't notice many Asians.

The overall meal experience of dining here is fantastic! We are happy and so full. Craving satisfied indeed!

I believe that eating good food with good company is one of the most effective stress-relievers! 😍

Eating Korean food has always piqued my interest because it is unique, delectable, and nutritious.
The staff is pleasant and helpful. The customer service is outstanding! You can anticipate top-notch meat quality and decent portion size.
There is an abundance of cuisine to choose from. The restaurant is ideal for both small and large groups.😊
Would I come back again? Yezzzz and eat more of their dishes that I haven't tried yet. Would I recommend it? Definitely! It is worth every penny you spent!
