Hello, Foodies community!
You have enough of plain hot dogs, but the kids insist on having hot dogs lunch. What to do? That's my attempt to upgrade the classic Hot dog into something more eatable :)
It will take you about 30 minutes if you have everything prepared.
What did I use in this recipe?
- Hot dogs, from chicken meat, without the wrapper, but they can be any;
- Slices of cooked ham can also be some other salami;
- Cheddar cheese in slices or any other cheese in slices;
- Grana Padano cheese (parmesan) for grating or any aged cheese;
- A few tomatoes;
- One egg;
- Hot dogs buns.

Place the buns in a baking dish and cut out the top of the hot dog and press the lid to the bottom with your fingers.

Cut the tomatoes into slices and fill the buns with slices ... I added pieces of asparagus to the last two buns 😎

Coat the buns with slices of cheese.

Wrap the hot dogs in slices of cooked ham and place in buns, if you have any tomatoes left, place them around the hot dogs.

Coat with beaten egg and grate the aged cheese on buns.

Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 15 minutes to melt the cheese and bake.

I was left with one, along with some vegetables I found in the fridge and a glass of red wine 😎
