

Greetings dear friends! For today I prepared a succulent and nutritious lunch; Sardines are underrated many times, however we can make them in different ways and they will still be very tasty. Their high content of Omega 3 make them very healthy and recommended for people with high cholesterol and are very beneficial for diets. A very balanced food that combined with potatoes, carrots and vegetables are delicious. Here I present my new recipe that I hope you like.

INGREDIENTES: 🐟🥔🥕🌶🥬🧅🧄🧂
- 6 sardinas frescas, 1 cebolla, 2 granos de ajo, 3 ajíes dulces, 3 tomates, 3 papas, 2 zanahorias, cebollín, cilantro, perejil, sal al gusto, aceite, agua.
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 fresh sardines, 1 onion, 2 grains of garlic, 3 sweet peppers, 3 tomatoes, 3 potatoes, 2 carrots, chives, coriander, parsley, salt to taste, oil, water.


PREPARACIÓN: 🍜
- Lavamos y cortamos en trocitos los ajíes dulces, cebolla y ajo.
- We wash and cut the sweet peppers, onion and garlic into small pieces.

- Igualmente lavamos y cortamos el cilantro, perejil, cebollín y los tomates.
- We also wash and cut the coriander, parsley, chives and tomatoes.

- En un sartén agregamos un poco de aceite y calentamos, agregamos el ajo y cebolla, removemos por 1 minuto y agregamos los ajíes dulces.
- In a pan we add a little oil and heat, add the garlic and onion, stir for 1 minute and add the sweet peppers.

- Añadimos los tomates, cebollín, perejil y cilantro, mezclamos y sofreimos todo.
- Add the tomatoes, chives, parsley and coriander, mix and fry everything.

- Lavamos y cortamos las papas en trozos y la zanahoria en rodajas.
- We wash and cut the potatoes into pieces and the carrot into slices.

- Agregamos las papas y zanahorias al sofrito.
- We add the potatoes and carrots to the sauce.

- Agregamos 2 tazas de agua y mezclamos, espolvoreamos la sal al gusto.
- Add 2 cups of water and mix, sprinkle the salt to taste.

- Lavamos, quitamos las escamas a la sardina y cortamos la cabeza y la cola, le quitamos todo el espinazo y volvemos a lavar.
- We wash, remove the sardine scales and cut off the head and tail, remove the entire spine and wash again.

- Agregamos 2 tazas de agua y añadimos las sardinas.
- We add 2 cups of water and add the sardines.

- Removemos y tapamos el sartén por 10 minutos a fuego alto.
- We remove and cover the pan for 10 minutes over high heat.

- Cortamos un poco de perejil (puede ser albahaca, apio españa o celeri).
- Cut a little parsley (it can be basil, Spanish celery or celeri).

- Agregamos a la salsa la hierba aromática de su preferencia.
- We add the aromatic herb of your choice to the sauce.

- Tapamos el sartén, apagamos y dejamos reposar. El olor de la comida se expande por toda la casa, muy sabroso.
- We cover the pan, turn off and let it rest. The smell of food spreads throughout the house, very tasty.

- Listo amigos, a servir y comer sabroso.
