The shock generated by the vile murder of a young gay man in Spain is unprecedented. This country is one of the best countries to live being gay, but the attacks in recent days show that perhaps it is not so good. That Friday night Samuel Luiz Muñiz did not know it was the last day of his life, a group of homophobes decided to take his life.
And they did it in the most cowardly way, beating him up and leaving him agonizing in the middle of the street. Although they managed to rescue him, the emergency services could do nothing to save the life of this 24 year old boy. Although the causes that led these men to murder Samuel have not been known, the LGBTIQ+ community and his family members have taken to social networks to denounce the murder.
They have not been alone several personalities from the world of entertainment and even politics have resorted to social networks to denounce this case, which has gone viral in a few hours because of its characteristics. So far no one has been arrested, but the police of A Coruña has begun an intense investigation to find the whereabouts of the culprits, for that they have resorted to the security camera recordings, circumstantial witnesses and hotel searches that are mandatory in Spain.

La conmoción que ha generado el vil asesinato de un joven homosexual en España es sin precedentes. Este país es uno de los mejores para vivir siendo gay pero los ataques producidos en los últimos días dan cuenta de que quizás no lo es tanto. Aquella noche del viernes Samuel Luiz Muñiz no sabía que era el último día de su vida, un grupo de homofóbicos decidió arrebatarle la vida.
Y lo hicieron de la manera más cobarde propinándole una golpiza que lo dejo agonizando en medio de la calle, a pesar de que lograron socorrerlo nada pudieron hacer los servicios de emergencia para salvar la vida de este chico de 24 años de edad. A pesar de que no se ha llegado a saber las causas que llevaron a estos hombres a asesinar a Samuel la comunidad LGBTIQ+ y sus familiares han llenado las redes sociales para denunciar el asesinato.
No han estado solo varias personalidades del mundo del entretenimiento y hasta la política han recurrido a las redes sociales para denunciar este caso, que se ha hecho viran en pocas horas por sus características. Hasta el momento no ha habido ningún detenido, pero la policía de A Coruña ha comenzado una intensa investigación para dar con el paradero de los culpables, para eso ha recurrido a las grabaciones de la cámara de seguridad, a los testigos circunstanciales y a los registros hosteleros que en España son obligatorios.

Many aggressions have been denounced in social networks and many accuse some political parties that promote wrong ideas and biased by hate. Nothing sells more these days than attracting voters with extremist and far-right ideas that have no place in a world that today pretends to be more inclusive.
The case of Samuel is a tragedy, a young boy, a nursing assistant whose death has raised the alarm of many homosexual groups that today, Monday, will begin a series of demonstrations to demand justice and that cases like this boy's are not repeated. I, however, cannot stop thinking about all the things that were taken from Samuel, but hate cannot take away the memory of people and even less of those who will never be forgotten, I am sure that his legacy in this land will be celebrated by the community and that there will be a lot of pressure to put behind bars those responsible for this aberration.
Ya han sido identificados varios de los agresores. La disputa al parecer comenzó porque los agresores creyeron que Samuel quien estaba en una video llamada los estaba grabando, pero según fuentes mientras lo golpeaban le proferían insultos homófobos. Su papa se ha pronunciado pero no ha expresado nada acerca de la naturaleza homosexual de su hijo más bien ha señalado que todo fue cuestión de una confusión y exigía Justicia.
De cualquier forma las redes sociales se han llenado de mensajes para pedir a posibles testigos que aporten información para dar con el paradero de los asesinos. Pero lo más preocupante en este caso es que el de Samuel es uno de las cientos de agresiones que han sufrido personas homosexuales en España en lo que va de año.
Muchas agresiones han sido denunciadas en redes sociales y muchos acusan a algunos partidos políticos que promueven ideas erróneas y sesgadas por el odio. Nada vende más en estos días que atraer votantes con ideas extremistas y de ultraderecha que no tienen cabida en un mundo que hoy pretende ser más inclusivo.
El caso de Samuel es una tragedia, un chico joven, auxiliar de enfermería cuya muerte ha despertado las alarmas de muchos colectivos homosexuales que hoy lunes iniciaran unas serie de manifestaciones para pedir justicia y que casos como el de este chico no se vuelvan a repetir. Yo sin embargo no puedo dejar de pensar en todas las cosas que le arrebataron a Samuel, pero el odio no puede arrebatar la memoria de la gente y menos de aquellos que nunca serán olvidados, seguro estoy que su legado en esta tierra será celebrado por la comunidad y que habrá mucha presión para poner tras las rejas a los responsables de esta aberración.
