We often find it easy to judge others. Sometimes it is based on our point of view, "morals" and "value".

The whole concept of judging other people sometimes is hypocritical. People often judge others based on what "they" think is right and wrong not based on actual facts.

People sometimes judge others for a certain act they don't do but the moment they start doing that thing, they are able to justify their actions ignoring the fact that those other people have their reasons too.

In 2020, when the pandemic was at its peak, there was a full lockdown in most countries including mine. After a while they eased the lockdown and we could go out to get basic stuff.

A friend of mine was always condemning people who left their houses, saying they were the ones spreading the virus. This continued until he had to go out to get something "important".

I confronted him. Told him that he was doing the very thing he condemned some months back. He came up with so many reasons to justify his actions and I couldn’t help it but laugh.

Everyone has reasons for doing certain things and this reason is always justified. And you will never know unless they reveal their reasons for such actions.

There is a saying in the bible "do not judge, so you will not be judged". Until we walk a mile in a person's shoe we can never truly know what they are going through.

We are different people. Our culture differs, so do our morals and values. However some things are deemed to be wrong or right generally.

We see someone go against some of those norms and suffer greatly for their actions. Some people say "he got what he deserved". That could be true.

However, If we indeed get what we deserve then a lot of things will go wrong. We have all done things worthy of condemnation.

Sometimes we have to be more understanding and see things from a different angle. Whenever two people have a misunderstanding, I always like to analyze it from the point of view of both parties and refrain from judging anyone too quickly.

Personally I refrain from judging people. I believe everyone has reasons for their actions and who am I to determine who is right and wrong.

I'd like to conclude by saying sometimes things may not truly be what they appear to be. So before we rush into judgement, let's take a step back and see the clearer picture.
