Un saludo a todos mis queridos amigos de esta maravillosa comunidad de artesanos y artistas creativos. Hoy quiero anunciarle a todas mis amigas manualistas y seguidores que ya inicio un nuevo concurso en la comunidad #HiveDiy, New Contest:✂️ Mundo de Fieltro ✂️, como pueden ver esta muy bueno y divertido ya que debemos trabajar con un material que nunca pasa de moda "El fieltro".

Gracias a este concurso pude terminar un proyecto que había iniciado hace como dos años y lo había engavetado en el cajón del olvido. Hay un dicho que dice "En casa de herrero, cuchillo de palo" parece mentira pero así es. La verdad es que esto de hacer muñecas y peluches nunca ha sido mi mejor habilidad, así que lo había intentado hacer pero al ver que no tenía suficiente relleno lo deje allí y hasta hoy lo he retomado.

Revistas que nunca pasan de moda

Tal vez muchas de ustedes tienen de estas revistas Quili en sus casas, yo tengo muchas pero de esta revista saqué los patrones y corte cada pieza. En verdad que esto se ve muy complicado pero realmente no es así, solo hay que abrir las páginas y vas buscando de acuerdo con el nombre del proyecto cada patrón.

Yo escogí este muñeco de nieve porque me identifico mucho con él, me parece muy gracioso; además todos sabemos que la navidad está a la vuelta de la esquina y es mejor darnos prisa a preparar las cosas que siempre dejamos de último y se quedan por allí sin hacer. Siempre decimos que la navidad es la mejor época del año y hace unos días me enteré que hay un país donde la comienzan a celebrar desde el 1 de Septiembre, ¡Que tal!.

Las Navidades en Filipinas se celebran desde el 1 de Septiembre, a partir de esta fecha todos celebran y son muy felices. Se escuchan villancicos y se disfruta del espectacular alumbrado navideño que inunda las calles del país, especialmente en la capital, Manila. Es muy común en Filipinas que la gente vaya de casa en casa cantando villancicos. (wikipedia).

Materiales que vamos a utilizar:

• Fieltro de distintos colores
• ojos negros
• Hilo negro para la boca
• tijeras, aguja e hilo
• Y muchas ganas de trabajar

Pasito a pasito ☃ ❄ Step by step

Lo primero que vamos hacer es sacar todos los patrones de la hoja principal, luego transferimos a la tela y cortamos cada pieza o patrón. Cuando ya tenemos todo listo comenzamos con el armado del cuerpo y la cara.

Para el cuerpo he unido con la ayuda de mi máquina de coser por los laterales con costura recta, luego he unido a la base. como ya lo dije antes son moldes que están hechos completamente a la medida, así que no debes dejarle ningún centímetro más de costura. Luego rellenamos y cerramos en costura envolvente en la parte del cuello para cerrar muy bien.

Luego repetimos lo mismo en cada pieza.

Para la cara del muñeco de nieve la puedes hacer así con la nariz redonda o la puntiaguda, con aguja e hilo negro cosemos con punto atrás para formar la boca. Pintamos los cachetes con pintura especial para tela y pincel seco y así darían toque de rubor en el rostro.

Los guantes y el gorro son cosas extras que puedes colocarle, hay quienes prefieren un sombrero negro de copa, pero a mí me gustó más así con un gorro más moderno. Por ultimo le haces los zapatos y unos guantes del mismo color.

Juntamos las piezas con hilo de nylon y una aguja de muñequería (Es más larga de las normales) preferiblemente para que no se rompa o se desarme nunca y decoramos a nuestro gusto.

Resultado genial

Yo solo les puedo decir que quedé enamorada de mi primer muñeco de navidad y le perdí el miedo a elaborar este tipo de cosas. En verdad fue un reto y lo superé, ahora puedo decir que puedo hacer muchos más como este porque es súper sencillo, lo único que les recomiendo es que tengan todos los materiales para que no te pase como a mí.

Greetings to all my dear friends in this wonderful community of crafters and creative artists. Today I want to announce to all my craft friends and followers that I am starting a new contest in the #HiveDiy community, New Contest:✂️ Felt World ✂️, as you can see it is very good and fun because we have to work with a material that never goes out of fashion "Felt".

Thanks to this contest I was able to finish a project that I had started about two years ago and I had put it in the drawer of oblivion. There is a saying that goes "In a blacksmith's house, a wooden knife" it seems unbelievable but that's how it is. The truth is that making dolls and stuffed animals has never been my best skill, so I had tried to do it but when I saw that I didn't have enough stuffing I left it there and until today I have taken it up again.

Magazines that never go out of style.

Maybe many of you have some of these Quili magazines at home, I have a lot of them but from this magazine I took the patterns and cut each piece. It looks very complicated but it's really not, just open the pages and look for each pattern according to the name of the project.

I chose this snowman because I identify a lot with him, I find him very funny; besides we all know that Christmas is just around the corner and it is better to hurry to prepare the things that we always leave last and are left there without doing them. We always say that Christmas is the best time of the year and a few days ago I found out that there is a country where they start celebrating it from the 1st of September, how about that?

Christmas in the Philippines is celebrated from the 1st of September, from this date everyone celebrates and is very happy. Christmas carols are played and the spectacular Christmas lights flood the streets of the country, especially in the capital, Manila. It is very common in the Philippines for people to go from house to house singing Christmas carols. (wikipedia).

Materials we are going to use:

• Felt of different colours
• black eyes
• black thread for the mouth
• scissors, needle and thread
• And a lot of desire to work

Step by step ☃❄ Step by step

The first thing we are going to do is to take out all the patterns from the main sheet, then we transfer them to the fabric and cut each piece or pattern. When we have everything ready we start with the assembly of the body and the face.

For the body I have joined with the help of my sewing machine by the sides with straight stitching, then I have joined to the base. As I said before are molds that are completely made to measure, so you should not leave any extra centimeter of seam. Then we stuff and close with a wrap-around seam on the neck part to close it very well.

Then we repeat the same for each piece.

For the face of the snowman you can do it like this with the round nose or the pointed one, with needle and black thread we sew with stitch at the back to form the mouth. We paint the cheeks with special paint for fabric and dry brush and thus give a touch of blush on the face.

The gloves and hat are extra things you can add, some people prefer a black top hat, but I liked it better this way with a more modern hat. Finally you make the shoes and gloves in the same colour.

We join the pieces together with nylon thread and a doll's needle (it's longer than the normal ones) preferably so that it never breaks or disassembles and decorate as we like.

Great result

I can only tell you that I fell in love with my first Christmas doll and I lost my fear of making this kind of things. It was really a challenge and I overcame it, now I can say that I can make many more like this because it is super simple, the only thing I recommend is that you have all the materials so that it doesn't happen to you like it did to me.
