Una de las cualidades más resaltantes del ser humano definitivamente son los valores, son estos lo que hacen la diferencia entre una persona y otra, aunque en muchas oportunidades los valores son esos principios que nos enseñan en casa, debemos saber que lo colocamos en práctica en su máxima expresión cuando nos enfrentamos a ciertas y determinadas situaciones.
En el 2022, #Hive me dió la gran oportunidad de colocar mis valores en práctica ante una situación que lo ameritaba, esos valores que traigo de familia, que me fue inculcando mi madre a través de mi crianza y que son parte de mi bienestar, así como también esos valores que he aprendido y puesto en práctica con el transcurrir de los años, con el pasar de las diversas experiencias de vida, cómo lo son el trabajo, sobretodo el mío, que trabajo con niños con Necesidades Educativas Especiales; el perder un ser querido, el ganar nuevos amigos, el iniciar un emprendimiento, en sí, un sinfín de cosas que te hacen crecer como personas.
El 8 de octubre del año 2022, a eso de las 6:30 de la tarde comenzó a llover, realmente no tan fuerte, pero si fue lluvia constante, al pasar un aproximado de 2 horas de este hecho climático, en una localidad del Estado Aragua, llamada Las Tejerias se registró varios desbordamientos de las cabeceras de ríos, que a su vez originaron deslaves e inundaciones de tal magnitud que en cuestiones de segundos se convirtió en tragedia.
Mi preocupación inmediata fue personal, puesto que esa localidad queda a tan solo 15 minutos de dónde vivo, es decir, es el municipio vecino, por ende era lo más lógico pensar que las cabeceras de los ríos desbordados se podían comunicar o por lo menos quedaban muy cercas y por ende podía pasar lo mismo en mi localidad.
No pasó mucho tiempo cuando la información emitida a través de las redes sociales empezaron a circular, divulgando lo sucedido, al principio fue confusa, puesto que no se entendía realmente que había pasado, si no estaba lloviendo tan fuerte como iba a pasar una tragedia, me preguntaba si era un deslave o solo inundaciones, nunca llegue a pensar que era una tragedia de tal magnitud.
Al día siguiente cuando los medios de comunicación y redes sociales comienzan a transmitir lo vivido en Tejerias por medio de videos, fotos y audios, era casi imposible controlar la cantidad de sentimientos encontrados, era un torbellino de diversas emociones, entre tristeza, compasión, desconsuelo, miedo, pero ante todo esto, una fe inquebrantable dónde solo podía orar para que todo eso pasara.
En ese momento @Guiltyparties y @Blocktrades, me hicieron una donación para que a través de ella prestara apoyo a parte de los damnificados, y así lo hice.
Fue imposible no llorar, el vivir parte de la desgracia de esas personas me hacia resaltar esos valores que siempre han estado conmigo, la empatía, el colocarme en el lugar de cada una de esas personas que me decían que habían perdido todo menos sus vidas me hacía ser más solidaria con ellos.
La generosidad, la humildad, el compañerismo, la igualdad, la responsabilidad son solo unos de los tantos valores que coloqué en práctica dando el 100% de mí en esos 2 días que estuve en La Tejerias ayudando y aportando el grano de arena que #Hive les había mandado a través de mí, con dicha donación pensé en llevarles algo que fuera más allá de la vestimenta, que para ese momento era lo que la mayoría de las personas llevaban, me enfoque en productos de higiene personal, por eso armé Kits con: toallas sanitarias, papel higiénico, pasta dental, jabón antiséptico, desodorante, shampoo, aparte de eso, se armó Kits de pañales de 3 talla diferentes para los bebés, se llevó medicinas como, acetaminofén de adultos y pediátricos, bacitracina en crema, antialérgicos, y pensando en los niños, también se les armaron unas bolsas con diversas golosinas.
Después de haber pasado por todo esto, hubo un valor que siempre estuvo presente en mí, LA GRATITUD, siempre estuve agradecida con Dios por elegirme como instrumento para poder ayudar a los necesitados y por colocarme en mi vida bendiciones tan grandes como por ejemplo a quien considero mi otra casa, que no es más que MI plataforma de #Hive.

One of the most outstanding qualities of human beings are definitely the values, these are what make the difference between one person and another, although in many opportunities values are those principles that we are taught at home, we should know that we put them into practice in its maximum expression when we face certain situations.
In 2022, #Hive gave me the great opportunity to put my values into practice in a situation that deserved it, those values that I bring from my family, that my mother instilled in me through my upbringing and that are part of my well-being, as well as those values that I have learned and put into practice over the years, with the passing of the various life experiences, such as work, especially mine, working with children with Special Educational Needs; Losing a loved one, gaining new friends, starting a business, in short, an endless number of things that make you grow as a person.
On October 8, 2022, at about 6:30 in the afternoon it began to rain, not really so hard, but it was a constant rain, after approximately 2 hours of this climatic event, in a town in the State of Aragua, called Las Tejerias, there were several overflows of the headwaters of rivers, which in turn caused landslides and floods of such magnitude that in a matter of seconds it became a tragedy.
My immediate concern was personal, since that town is only 15 minutes away from where I live, that is, it is the neighboring municipality, therefore it was logical to think that the headwaters of the overflowed rivers could communicate or at least were very close and therefore the same thing could happen in my town.
At the beginning it was confusing, since it was not really understood what had happened, if it was not raining so hard how could a tragedy happen, I wondered if it was a landslide or just flooding, I never thought it was a tragedy of such magnitude.
The next day when the media and social networks began to transmit what happened in Tejerias through videos, photos and audios, it was almost impossible to control the amount of mixed feelings, it was a whirlwind of different emotions, between sadness, compassion, grief, fear, but before all this, an unshakable faith where I could only pray that all this would pass.
At that moment @Guiltyparties and @Blocktrades, made me a donation so that through it I could support some of the victims, and so I did.
It was impossible not to cry, living part of the misfortune of those people made me highlight those values that have always been with me, empathy, putting myself in the place of each of those people who told me that they had lost everything but their lives made me be more supportive with them.
Generosity, humility, companionship, equality, responsibility are just some of the many values that I put into practice giving 100% of me in those 2 days that I was in La Tejerias helping and contributing the grain of sand that #Hive had sent them through me, with that donation I thought of bringing them something that went beyond clothing, which at that time was what most people were carrying, I focused on personal hygiene products, so I put together Kits with: Sanitary towels, toilet paper, toothpaste, antiseptic soap, deodorant, shampoo, apart from that, I put together diaper kits in 3 different sizes for the babies, took medicines such as adult and pediatric acetaminophen, bacitracin cream, anti-allergic, and thinking of the children, I also put together bags with various sweets.
After going through all this, there was a value that was always present in me, GRATITUDE, I was always grateful to God for choosing me as an instrument to help those in need and for placing in my life such great blessings such as who I consider my other home, which is none other than MY #Hive platform.
