New Voucher Card Incoming: Introducing Ulfga the Blighted

On Tuesday, December 10th, Lyra & Lorn's will remove the Mana Warden card from their shelves. That's right: now is your last chance to get it with Vouchers. After Tuesday, it'll only be available on third-party markets from other players.

But don't worry. Lyra & Lorn's is cooking up something even tastier than the Mana Warden.

Ulfga the Blighted

Ulfga Vaskrathek was once a proud dragutsu of the Gloridax Empire's Dragonsguard, known for her martial prowess and leadership while commanding contingents of drakoshan tasked with escorting supply caravans between the cities of Solace and Oasis. When Dr. Blight's plague first swept across Praetoria, she led efforts to evacuate the afflicted to isolation camps in hopes of containing the infection's spread. But during one such mission, she encountered a group of plague victims who had hidden their symptoms. By the time she realized the danger, it was too late.

The disease transformed her into something terrible. Her scales became mottled and sickly, weeping with toxicity. Her limbs deteriorated until she could no longer wield a weapon. Now, her mere presence saps the strength and vigor from those who draw too close. She is a walking cornucopia of contagion that refuses to die, for the plague has given her a horrific form of immortality. When struck down, blight bursts from her wounds and spreads to those around her, and she rises once more.

Ulfga wanders Praetoria, stripped of pride, honor, and sanity. She is both a reminder and warning—Dr. Blight's plague may be contained, but it was never truly cured.

Let's see. A 5 mana Dragon card with Rebirth, Weaken, Slow, and... what's this? Two new abilities, if my eyes don't deceive me. Savvy battle mages who've followed the latest additions to the Tome of Knowledge might already know what they are.

Poison Burst
When defeated, 100% chance to apply Poisoned to attacker and 50% chance to apply Poisoned to units adjacent to attacker. Poisoned units lose 2 health at the beginning of each round.

Let's break it down. debuffs? Weaken and Slow, check. Debilitations? Yup; Untrainable means Ulfga can't ever attack. Bummer, dude. But Poison Burst plus Rebirth? That combo has a chance of Poisoning your opponent's entire team; it's like giving 'em the Noxious Fumes ruleset!

I hope you've been loading up on them Vouchers 'cause...

She'll run ya 1,500 Vouchers for a single BCX, every card purchased has a 4% chance of being Gold Foil, and you'll be guaranteed to receive a Gold Foil card for every 25 cards purchased in a single transaction.
