I'm totally copping to the fact that this is a quickie post. I already knew I wouldn't be able to do today's daily prompt for Hive Blog Posting Month, which is...

Visit a market & share at least 5 photos for Market Friday

...because I haven't left my house with my camera when shopping in forevah (sorry, my New England accent slipped out... lol). However, I'd already planned to finally get my rare bird sighting from June 2020 posted for today.

But as I've mentioned a few times, this week has gotten a bit out of hand busy as our eldest daughter got scheduled for a minor surgical procedure (like my mom brain is believing that it's minor, even though I keep reassuring her it will be over before she knows it) a month or two before we expected it. Not for any urgent reason - her doctor just had a space open up. So spending time doing my rare bird post just wasn't in the cards for today, but depending on how her home recovery goes, I might be able to get it done early next week.

What I decided to quickly do instead last night, was to scroll through photos I took back in April 2016 that were used either on my WordPress blog or other social media accounts. I gave them all fresh edits - well, technically more like edited them for the first time, as back then all I used to do is crop & resize...lol! Oh, and I used to add watermarks as well, which I photoshopped out (with varying degrees of success). 😜

We're leaving for the hospital in a few hours, and not sure how long this "day surgery" will last (we're all just assuming we won't be home until later tonight), so I'm hitting "publish" now, and will check back in when we get home to update on how my eldest baby girl (yes she's in her twenties, but still my baby) is doing. Oh, and good thoughts sent in her general direction would be greatly appreiated.
