This village in Andalucia, Spain is unique. Most of the villages are located on hilltops, but Setenil de las Bodegas is lokated in the bottom of av ravine. Some of the houses in the bottom are built under the cliffs. The villages of Andalucia were built as fortified settlements and Setenil also has a fort on a hilltop. When leaving the streets in the bottom of the ravine and walk upwards the narrow streets you will see the whitewashed houses and the fort on the hilltop.
