These photos shows some of the architecture you will find at Taj Mahal, India. This mausoleum is considered one of the greatest architectural achievement in islamic art. It was emperor Shah Jahan who had this beautiful monument built in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. She died when she gave birth to their 14th child. The main building is built in white marble. The photos shows some of the other buildings around the coplex, build in red sandstone.
