These photos were taken in Laos. The place in Vang Vieng, a small town half way between the capital Vientienne and Luang Prabang. The area is known for a beautiful karst landscape and a boat trip on the river was a great way to enjoy the landscape and see local people in the river. I am not sure if they were catching fish or collecting snails.
