MONOMAD - The streets of Chinatown (5 photos)

The photos were taken in the capital of Mauritius, Port Louis. In the old city center, you will find Chinatown. It's very smal, covering only a few blocks. But even though it is small, it is full of life. This is where you will see chinese shops with signs written in chinese. You can find almost anything in the shops here. Even Chinatown is small, it has the largest consentration of street art in Port Louis. Almost all the walls are covered. When I am in town, doing street photography, I cannot avoid getting street art as a background! This is due to an organization consisting of young people who wanted to preserve this old part of town. I chose to add the last photo too, even that one was taken outside Chinatown, but in the center of Port Louis.
