These photos were taken at the Central Railway station in Yangon, the capital of Myanmar. The railway station looks like it has seen better days. Both the station and the carriages looked as a reminiscent of a bygone era. When I was at the railway station it was because I wanted to take The Circular Railway. This is a 49.9 kilometre loop that connects surburban areas with the city. It took three hours to complete the loop from the Central Station. I did that tour to get a break from the hot and chaotic streets, but also because it provides a great possibility to see the more rural areas and watch daily life along the track.
