Genesis League Goals Presale: I'm Ready
Today October 18, 2022 at 4:00 PM EST the Genesis League Goals Presale event will begin.
At the time I am publishing this post there are just under thirty minutes until the presale begins.
I have decided to participate in the presale and will try to purchase 100 packs of cards.
I don't know if the presale will last a few minutes, a few hours or a few days but my personal prediction is that it will last a few minutes so I will try to be ready in front of my computer when the presale starts.

Today I want to share my experience in the preliminary steps to presale participation:
- Registration
- My purchase goal and SWAP.HIVE->HIVE and HBD->HIVE conversions

Registration
To participate in the presale, it is necessary to create a GLG account.
Initially there were some technical problems but when I registered I had no problems.
I went to https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/ and clicked on Login.
On the next screen I clicked on Register
On the next screen I entered and confirmed my email, accepted the terms of service, and then clicked Create Password.
I then opened my email and clicked on the verification link that Genesis League Goals sent me
Then I went back to https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/ and clicked on WALLETS
Next, I entered the address of my Hive wallet and clicked Confirm on the Hive KeyChain screen.
As you can see from the image below, my Hive Wallet was successfully connected to my GLG account.
I have completed the first step to participate in the presale, and the process of registering and linking my Hive Wallet went smoothly, quickly, and correctly.
My purchase target and SWAP.HIVE->HIVE and HBD->HIVE conversions
My purchase goal for the GLG presale is 100 packs.
I decided to purchase 100 packs because I don't have a lot of funds available to purchase a larger amount of packs and because in my opinion it is the purchase that has the best presale benefit/cost ratio because it gives access to 3 benefits out of 6:
- Access to pack stacking pool of 7.5M GLX.
- Closed Beta Access
- Free license to earn in-game
Each NFT pack has a fixed cost of $5 = 10.25 HIVE
There is a bonus bulk purchase and I, with my purchase of 100 packs, should get 110 packs and the cost per pack would be 4.5455$ instead of 5$
To reach my purchase goal I need 1024.59 liquid HIVE but I only have 560 HIVE in my wallet.
To increase the number of liquid HIVEs in my wallet I converted 199 SWAP.HIVE that I had on Hive Engine to HIVE tokens.
For the conversion I used Bridge https://swaphive.github.io/swap/ which is always my first choice when liquidity conditions are favorable in the sense that there is a lack of liquidity.
In fact when there is a lack of liquidity in one side of the pool it is possible to earn 0.075% instead of paying a 0.75% fee using Hive Engine.
I was lucky because at the time I made the conversion there was a shortage of liquidity just on the SWAP.HIVE side and from the conversion of 199 SWAP.HIVE I got 199.149 SWAP.HIVE.
To reach an amount of 1024 liquid HIVEs I also decided to convert some of my HBD tokens to HIVEs from https://wallet.hive.blog/market
My purchase order was accepted and I now have 1067.66 liquid HIVEs and can try to purchase 100 packs of GLG cards when the presale starts.
Before I conclude this post of mine I want to show the main possible purchase cases, the cost per pack for each of them and the benefits that can be obtained.

Final Considerations
Participating in the Genesis League Goals presale is a subjective and personal decision for each player/investor to make based on their personal predictions and after doing their own research and evaluation.
I have decided to participate in the presale and my minimum purchase goal is 100 packs of cards.
There was a pre-sale for those who wanted to invest more than $10000, and the packs available for the presale will not be 500000 as previously announced but 372680.
It is only my prediction but it will not be easy for me to purchase 100 packs if the presale ends in a few minutes.
If I fail to reach my purchase goal I will consider what to do and whether to buy the packs later from the secondary markets or during presale 2.

Poi sono ritornato su https://goals.genesisleaguesports.com/ e ho cliccato su WALLETS
Dopo ho inserito l'indirizzo del mio Hive wallet e ho cliccato su Confirm nella schermata di Hive KeyChain.
Come puoi vedere dall'immagine seguente il mio Hive Wallet è stato collegato correttamente al mio account GLG.
Ho completato il primo passo per partecipare alla prevendita e la procedura di registrazione e collegamento del mio Hive Wallet è avvenuta in modo corretto, velocemente e senza problemi.
Il mio obiettivo di acquisto e le conversioni SWAP.HIVE->HIVE e HBD->HIVE
Il mio obiettivo di acquisto per la prevendita GLG è di 100 pacchi.
Ho deciso di acquistare 100 pacchi perchè non ho molti fondi disponibili per acquistare un quantitativo di pacchi maggiore e perchè secondo me è l'acquisto che ha il miglior rapporto benefici della prevendita/costo perchè permette di accedere a 3 benefici su 6:

Per raggiungere un quantitativo di 1024 HIVE liquidi ho deciso anche di convertire una parte dei miei token HBD in HIVE da https://wallet.hive.blog/market
Il mio ordine di acquisto è stato accettato e adesso ho 1067.66 HIVE liquidi e posso provare ad acquistare 100 pacchi di carte GLG quando la prevendita inizierà.
Prima di concludere questo mio post voglio mostrare i principali casi di acquisto possibili, il costo per pacco per ognuno di essi e i benefici ottenibili.

Considerazioni Finali
Partecipare alla presale Genesis League Goals è una decisione soggettiva e personale che ogni giocatore/investitore di Splinterlands deve prendere in base alle proprie previsioni personali e dopo aver fatto le proprie ricerche e valutazioni.
Io ho deciso di partecipare alla presale e il mio obiettivo di acquisto minimo è di 100 pacchi di carte.
C'è stata una pre-prevendita per chi voleva investire più di 10000$ e i pacchi disponibili per la prevendita non saranno 500000 come annunciato in precedenza ma 372680.
E' solo la mia previsione ma non sarà facile per me acquistare 100 pacchi se la prevendita dovesse terminare in pochi minuti.
Se non dovessi riuscire a raggiungere il mio obiettivo di acquisto valuterò cosa fare e se acquistare i pacchi in un secondo momento dai mercati secondari o durante la prevendita 2.
