MONOMAD - Mother Earth (4 Photos)

DSC_98.jpg

Our world is unique. These photos are all taken on an early morning visit to El Tatio Geyser field in the Atacama desert, Chile. This field is situated 4.300 m.above sea level, which makes it the highest geysir field in the world. It is the largest geysir field on the southern hemisphere and the third largest in the world with more than 80 active geysirs. It's like walking in a gigantic steam bath, surrounded by the sound of gurgling geysers. There is a constant shooting of boiling water and clouds of steam into the air. It is a spectacular sight. In adition the whole area is surrounded by volcanoes.
