Después de haber leído el documento y sabiendo también que una de las realidades con la cual nos enfrentamos dentro de la blockchain es el desconocimiento de muchas de sus realidades, algo normal en una tecnología relativamente reciente, pensé que sería un buen aporte a la comunidad darle una especie de claves de lectura o pistas de reflexión al momento de abordar el documento. After having read the document and also knowing that one of the realities that we face within the blockchain is the lack of knowledge of many of its realities, something normal in a relatively recent technology, I thought that it would be a good contribution to the community to give it some kind of reading keys or reflection clues at the moment of approaching the document. So, let's start.
Lo primero a lo que hace referencia el White Paper es que Hive es una blockchain construido sobre el protocolo DPos (= Prueba Delegada de Stake) e inmediatamente señala que es independiente de la autoridad central. ¿Por qué subraya esto? ¿No se supone que el blockchain es una tecnología descentralizada?

The first thing the White Paper refers to is that Hive is a blockchain built on the DPos protocol (= Delegated Test of Stake) and immediately points out that it is independent of the central authority. Why does it stress this? Isn't the blockchain supposed to be a decentralised technology?
Certainly the objective of this technology is decentralization but this is not as simple as saying it, since it is necessarily necessary to establish government policies, to maintain an order within which we can interact and operate peacefully, think for example in the case of decision making.
In traditional platforms, such as Facebook or Google, the solution is simple, government policies are established by the owners of these large corporations themselves. That's why some people talk about how they have constituted a kind of virtual state with an absolute monarchy where the law in its conception, administration and application depends on a central authority.
Los diferentes proyectos que hoy se basan en blockchain plantean diversas alternativas para contrarrestar esto, ya que sería contradictorio plantear una tecnología como ésta pero seguir con el mismo sistema de administración política. Al contrario, se busca la manera en que millones de usuarios puedan tomar decisiones de manera conjunta, dando el paso de ser meros espectadores a protagonistas de una nueva historia.
Entre estas alternativas hago referencia a la democracia líquida que es el sistema que más se asemeja hoy al gobierno en nuestra plataforma.
La democracia líquida plantea la delegación de votos a determinadas personas, con la opción de revocar esta delegación si se considera que no se está representando de manera adecuada el poder concedido. Al mismo tiempo también establece que cada usuario pueda votar por tema individualmente, por eso, se dice que es una combinación entre democracia directa y representativa.
En Hive vemos esto reflejado, por ejemplo, en la votación de los testigos, encargados directos del buen desempeño de la blockchain, y en la de las propuestas de mejora de la plataforma que cualquier usuario puede presentar ante el Fondo Descentralizado de Hive (DHF).

At the same time, it also provides for each user to be able to vote by topic individually, which is why it is said to be a combination of direct and representative democracy.
In Hive we see this reflected, for example, in the voting of witnesses, who are directly responsible for the good performance of the blockchain, and in the proposals for improving the platform that any user can submit to the Hive Decentralized Fund (DHF).
