Good day hivers. Today is the last day of February and also I am writing the last task of #newbieinitiative by @starstrings01. It's been a sweet and beautiful ride with my friends @kemmyb and @Faith6 being a part of the newbie initiative. I am late for the task yet I explained my case to @starstrings01 about my absence.
At our first task, we were supposed to narrate the goals and objectives to be achieved at the end of the month and I am proudly announcing that I achieved much more than I was expecting.
Comparison of previous goals
In my blog about my goals, I stated three main goals to be achieved this month.
- Number of comments
- Hive power
- Formatting of the blog
I achieved almost everything, I was planning to get the hive power of 50HP which jumped to more than 100 from a total of 17 HP, unexpectedly. And it seems like this 👇
It's exciting, right? I have no problem saying that I attained this with the help of the newbie initiative.
As per the number of comments is concerned I am at 187 now.
I was planning to achieve a total of 200 comments and I am only 13 comments away, it's not because I am not committed to my goals but it's because of some uncertain happenings with me. I was absent three days previously and two days now I mean Friday to today, so I just missed the target. Which I would achieve soon, maybe today who knows? Hehehe.
It really improved my engagements and interaction with quality writers.
The third was formatting the post. At the start of the initiative, I wasn't able to add the line separators, bolding my letters and using the right headings. I learned all this from Discord smile server with the help of @Tripode.
What you have learned along the way while in the Initiative
Despite all these objectives I explained above👆, I achieved a lot, like using the right community interacting with new people and using the prompts from blogging challenge to write on and much more. I was able to post a video edit my images, and bringing diversity to my content.
My account got reasonably well orientation from the reblogs by the boss Starstrings01 (sorry for a lot of tags hehe).
I optimistic that I would improve myself much more with the basics I learned from #newbieinitiative.
How much of a beneficiary the initiative has been to you
Give is a complicated platform to go through. I believe without a guide someone like me can't perform well. As we need HP to write and engage on the platform. After becoming part of the newbie initiative, we are blessed with 50 HP delegations, as well as all the six newbies (lately 5) were beneficiaries of 3% rewards from the posts rewards of @starstrings01 which helped us to grow better and fast.
Why new Hiver users should join the next batch (March batch) of the Newbie Initiative
As I said previously, one needs proper guidelines and assistance to survive on the hive. So here are some reasons why someone should join the newbie initiative.
- For fast growth of the account
- For better interaction
- To explore the blockchain better (like I was able to post a video using 3speak.com with the help of this initiative)
- Delegated hive power and curation rewards.
I honestly appreciate the insightful approach to support newbies and to encourage the users by @starstrings01 and @tripode. Thank you so much for everything ❤. Mahnoor sends gratitude 🌺.
