Hello everyone hope you all are doing well. Today I will be sharing the recipe of carrot and beet curry. It is a simple yet very less time consuming recipe. It is very easy to make recipe and delicious too. This recipe is perfect for vegetarians. So without wasting our time lets move on to the ingredients.
Ingredients:
-Beetroot- 2 medium size
-Carrot- 2 medium size
-Peas- half cup
-Tomato- 1
-Bay leaf- 1
-Turmeric powder- half tbsp
-Red chilli powder- half tbsp
-Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp
-Onion- 2 medium size
-Salt- according to your taste
There are many health benefits of eating vegetables. Beetroot are rich in vitamins, minerals and protein. They are loaded with fibre. It helps to boost our immune system. It helps to control the blood pressure. It helps to treat a healthy eyesight. Eating beetroot helps to purify the blood and provide the perfect red colour to the blood. It provides stamina to the body. Carrots contain anti aging properties that helps to reduce the signs of aging. It helps to prevent heart attack. It helps to make teeth and bones strong. Carrot helps to improve the texture of skin hence providing a glow.
- Firstly cut the beetroot and carrots into peices
- Heat the pressure cooker in medium flame and add bay leaf into it
- Then add onions and fry until it turn golden brown
- Then add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well. Then add little water at a time and fry the masala for good 5mins
- Add the veggies that is beetroot, carrot and peas and mix well
- Then add the chopped tomatoes and add water and cover the cooker for the whistles to come
- After two the three whistle check
