Are you also into arts and coffee like me? How about outdoors and bikes?
Let me share with you my caffeine-filled day at the BGC Coffee Festival 2023!
I was in a good mood last weekend, thanks to all the coffee I had consumed. When BGC announced that they will be having a Coffee Festival this year, I was so pumped that I immediately informed my sister and told her to invite her coffee buddy too! Us, being coffeeholics, went to the Coffee Festival.

Different coffee brands, cycling shops, artists, and musicians were there to celebrate my favorite caffeine drink. They served coffee until 8 in the evening. It’s a two-day celebration, but we only attended the first day.

This arch welcomed us before we explored the area. I can’t help but feel excited to discover more coffee flavors inside! I am so ready to take as many cups as I can and palpitate! HAHAHAHA
In front of the arch are coffee stalls like Pocofino, Kombi Brew, and Commune.

I have seen Kombi Brew on instagram but we haven’t tried it yet. By the way, they have coffee + lemon dou! It’s a must try! This reminds me of my HivePH friends who like lemon dou.
Beside Kombi Brew, a man holding Brownies & Cookies Free Taste sign caught my attention. Who doesn’t love freebies?

We tried their brownies and boy oh boy, I fell in love! It’s chewy and the chocolate melts in my mouth! We bought three brownies to pair with our coffee from Kombi Brew. Good thing about CookiesRaffle, one lucky buyer each month wins free cookies!
🚲 BIKES 🚲
There’s designated parking for bikes beside the arch. There were also some cycling shops. Bikers in the area stopped by for a cup of coffee.

☕🎨 COFFEE AND ARTS ☕🎨
What's your favorite way to enjoy coffee? As for me, I enjoyed it with delightful music and arts that day.
There are a lot of coffee booths in the festival like:
- Elephant Grounds
- Harlan + Holden Coffee
- Single Origin Coffee & Tea Inc.
- Malongo Atelier Barista
- Coffee Lab
- Luntian by Luna
- Figaro
- Paik’s Coffee
- Supersam
- Caravan Black
- TwentyFour Bakeshop
- Tiger Sugar
- Kaulayaw Coffee + Gringos
- Gourmet Farms
- Deja Brew
- Ten-Four Coffee by Overlandkings
- Sspace Coffee
- Wideye Coffee
- Muji
Have you tried these coffee shops? Which one's your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
At the center, there's this huge cup and saucer. I couldn't take a decent photo of it because there were a lot of people.

How I wish I have this kind of cup for my coffee! LOL. For me, there's no such thing as too much coffee!

Looking at the booths, I have already tried half of the coffee booths on the list. Some of the brands are familiar but I haven’t tried yet. This Coffee Fest is really for trying out new flavors, brands, and supporting local businesses.

And then I saw Supersam, the newest coffee shop on my list. We tried their Caramel Macchiato for Php 209. It was sooo good!
One of their staff approached us and said we could have a free caricature since we bought coffee from them. Good marketing!
As we lined up for the caricature, I wonder how good the caricature is. We watch as Sir Christian, the artist, makes a caricature of the guy before us.

When it was my turn, my sister took a video of how Sir Christian does my caricature. He asked me if I have special requests for my caricature, and I just told him to not forget my eyeglasses.
I was really excited about how Sir Christian would draw me and what I looked like in a caricature. It’s an open space. I was a bit shy posing for the caricature, because people stop by and take pictures and videos while Sir Christian does his art.
Finally, after a couple of minutes, a copy of my caricature! I get to bring home a physical copy of this, thanks to Sir Christian and Supersam.

My sister and her friend also had their caricatures by Sir Christian. After that, we head on to explore other booths.

There's also this tattoo booth - Crimson River Tattoo Studio. I almost left the festival with a tattoo on my back. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy on my phone of the design I want. I'm not sure if that's a good thing though, but I really want to have a tattoo!

As we walk our way around the booths, we were serenaded by The Espasouls. It was my first time hearing about this group. We enjoyed sipping our cup of joe while listening to them.

We’re busy roaming around the booths that we missed the live art show. Good thing it was still on display when we passed by near the stage.

I even took a picture of my almost empty cup of coffee with the mural!

We spot another huge cup of coffee. It was a freedom cup of coffee where you can write anything.

I made a mark on it as well using a Sharpie pen. Zoom in to see my handwriting. Can you guess what I’ve written?

It’s getting dark. Sadly, we weren’t able to try all the coffee from various coffee booths, but the cups we had were all pretty good!
It’s indeed a coffeeholic paradise. I'm glad I made it through the BGC Coffee Festival without me experiencing palpitations ❤️
I missed the Manila Coffee Festival in Pasay but I’m hoping there’ll be more coffee fest like this in the future.
'Til the next Coffee Festival!
