Happy start of the week, I hope you are great, I present you a simple illustration that I made over the weekend, a simple girl having a Sunday coffee, I really liked it and I want to share it with you.
This weekend I drew something I had in mind, I had an idea of a girl drinking coffee, sometimes I'm not very good at making the proportions so I said why not draw a big cup and the girl's face? I liked that and I put my hands to work so here it is:
MATERIALS:
- paper (I use mostly recycling for practice) if you have your sketch pad all the better.
- Mechanical pencil with 0.5 lead or pencil.
- Eraser.
- Rapidograph or very fine tip marker: brown, black, all Artesco brand.
- Fine marker black No. 34, brown No.29, pink and red, all Kores brand.
- Crejones: orange, brown, blue, red, purple, beige, or nude, all from Paper Mate.
- Motivation!
DRAWING PROCESS:
I have prepared a gif and the step-by-step photos of each illustration, this was a very enjoyable drawing, without so many technicalities or dividing guidelines, it was something that was coming out without thinking much, in my family home resting, Out stress!
NOW COMES THE DIGITAL PART
As you well know, I like to digitize my illustrations, cut the margins, and give them some shine I used the edition of my great Redmi 7ª phone, then I went to Photoshop Express Movil and it has been like this:
What did you think? I look forward to your valuable comments while I sip my cup of coffee, thanks a thousand for reading, and see you in the next art post exclusive to this community.
Final Recommendation
When the muse comes, you have to let yourself go, whatever time it is, give yourself a few minutes, and have fun creating something, even if you think it is insignificant, it turns out to be worth gold because it cleared your mind and what you think you have drawn is nothing, for others, it is a work of art.
