A Recap of 2022

Year 2022 had been quite productive year bringing many positive modifications in my life. On Hive, also, it was overall a progressive year. Though the rewards my posts would generate reduced quite much in the second half of the year, yet rewards are not the only measure of success. There are certain other things of immense importance. For instance, lately I wrote a post for a contest. It was on a topic I had written an article some 2 years ago. The one I wrote this time was drastically different. Improved and much better. It means my writing skills are gradually polishing which is certainly a success.

I obtained my Hive recap from the site created by Hive Creators.

It demonstrates that 1285 hive are added to my Hive Power. It is a progress, indeed. However, I sometimes regret my decision of converting 200+ HBD at the time when Hive was trading at $0.8. Had I not converted them at that point and would have done it at the dip time, my Hive Power would be much greater. Well, it is of no use cry over spilt milk. ๐Ÿ˜•

In the very beginning of last year I happened to join We Are Alive Tribe. This community had a magical effect on the writer inside me. It helped me overcoming my fear of not being able to produce quality content. I used to drop one idea after the other owing to the fear that I wouldnโ€™t be able to write enough words for something. Writing in We are Alive Tribe made me realize I can write better than I think I can. I have already written a post about how this community became a blessing for me.

In the month of March, I found out another community that has a lot to do with my growth. The community is none other than Hive Learners Community. The posts published there would bring me better monetary rewards. Moreover, writing back to back featured posts by the community would keep me moving.

Being a lady on Hive, how could I stay away of Ladies of Hive. This community has a unique charm. At least, I feel so. It gives the value to my voice-the voice of a woman.

What other thing I found I participated during last year was #DCC tag. I really loved participating in it. It is kind of showing appreciation to authors. Often times reading othersโ€™ posts would give me inspiration for my own writing. I would add the excerpt from their posts in my article mentioning their name; and use DCC tag on my post. I participated quite many times in the contest organized by DCooperation (DCC) Community. This way I collected a handful of dcc tokens. For some months DCC community is quiet. I hope to see it live soon.

Another important thing that happened last year was the change in my preferred front-end.* I joined Hive via PeakD and stuck to it. However, for dreemport challenge I joined Ecency which made me stick with it. I also won a prize of 30 HBD in a contest organized by Ecency.

How can I forget to mention generous people on Hive. I had the delegation of 900 hp by @zuerich already which he increased to 2000 hp. I got 150 and 100 hp delegations from @dibblers.dabs and @gamer00 respectively. Thanks to all of you.

Last but not the least, I got the role of ambassador in my lovely dreemport. I was reluctant initially but when I got it, I loved it.

Now, we have entered the new year. I hope to grow much more than the last year. I wish I may become a dolphin. Also, I have plans to learn trading and invest in some second layer tokens.

Summing up, I would say that Hive has been a great blessing in my life. I am not only happy to be here but also grateful to those who have been supportive to me during my whole journey.

A Big Thanks to Everyone who made my Hive Journey Amazing
