Los viejos tiempos del anime

Feliz y bendecido presente Hivers!!!
Antes de empezar debo confesarles que tuve que indagar previamente el concepto de "Anime" para esclarecer una duda que tenía al respecto. Buscando en internet me di cuenta que está palabra es usada para aludir a "animaciones" de origen japonés, las cuales tienen unas características propias y diferenciadoras respecto a otro tipo de animaciones, sobre todos las de origen occidental.
Siempre me han atraído este tipo animaciones, sobre todo por la trama original y creativa que tienen, el soundtrack y el toque de humor de sus caracterizaciones.
Dicho esto, les cuento un poco de mis Animes favoritos:
Heidi
Esta animación nos muestra una hermosa y conmovedora historia de amor. Heidi se queda huérfana a muy temprana edad y es llevada con su abuelo a un lugar en la montaña, para ninguno de los dos fue fácil adaptarse a los nuevos cambios, sin embargo el encanto y la dulzura de Heidi cautivaron el corazón de su abuelito.
Luego Heidi es separada de su abuelo y llevada a la ciudad, otro gran choque para ambos, allí tiene nuevas aventuras y va conquistando con su inocencia de niña otros corazones.
Esta era una de las animaciones que más veía con mis hermanas, nos gustaba mucho porque era muy fresca, también tenía paisajes muy bonitos y era una historia cautivante, a pesar de las circunstancias que le tocó vivir a tan temprana edad siempre fue una niña muy alegre.
Ángel la niña de las Flores
Esta era una de mis series favoritas, amaba a esta niña descendiente de las hadas. Tenía una misión especial de encontrar una flor con los sietes colores, y toda la trama se desarrolla justamente en esa aventura.
Era una historia muy mágica, Ángel podía utilizar el poder de las flores con una llave mágica, cambiaba de look y adquiría ciertas habilidades que la ayudaban a superar las pruebas que afrontaba.
Paradójicamente, después de tanto viajar encontró la flor que buscaba en su propio jardín. Creo que es un gran mensaje de esta serie, no sé si era la intención, pero ahora lo veo como ese largo camino que emprendemos buscando la felicidad, el éxito y tantas otras cosas fuera de nuestro jardín y luego caemos en cuenta de que todo eso está dentro de nosotros.
Otros Animes extraordinarios que disfruté mucho (aunque no son propiamente de los 90) son:
El viaje de Chihiro
Tiene mucha simbología relacionada a la cultura japonesa y también cada personaje muestra una problemática de la sociedad. Su tema central: el paso de Chihiro de la infancia a la madurez. Creo que la trama es un poco compleja para la comprensión de los niños, pero de igual modo puede disfrutarse en familia.
Una de las cosas que más me gustó de Chihiro es que cuando inició la película era una niña mimada y llorona, y ese viaje fue de total transformación para ella, asumió un montón de responsabilidades y a través de sus valores de perseverancia y trabajo logró volver a su mundo con sus padres sanos y salvos.
También es hermosa la trama de amistad de los personajes principales, sin la fuerza de esa unión no hubieran podido salir de ese mundo.

Siento que la trama, los personajes, el estilo cómico y otros elementos como la inclusión de artes marciales, rituales y ciertos paisajes, se asemejan mucho a los de origen japonés.
Disfrute mucho esta serie primero por la trama que tiene de la división en reinos caracterizados por los 4 elementos y los poderes que tenían los Maestros de cada nación, las peleas me resultaban muy emocionantes y además está repleta de mensajes aleccionadores.
La primera vez que la vi no aprecié muchos estos mensajes más allá del de la trama general sobre "mantener el equilibrio del mundo, respetando las diferencias de cada una de las naciones", siendo el Avatar el encargado de traer el orden y la paz del mundo.
Luego, tuve la oportunidad de ver la serie otra vez con mi hijo (ya la hemos visto dos veces) y cada vez que la veo me doy cuenta de algo nuevo o que no había percibido antes.
Tiene también una connotación espiritual importante, para que los personajes puedan lograr una mayor fuerza y conexión especial con su poder tienen que hacer un recorrido interno de conocerse a sí mismos, enfrentar sus miedos y lograr esa conexión trascendente que los hace más poderosos, más allá de la fuerza física o bruta.
En la animación se presentan muchos capítulos dónde el Avatar aprende herramientas valiosas para la vida como la meditación, respiración, conexión con sus guías y maestros espirituales. De hecho uno de los Capítulos hace una extraordinaria explicación de los Chakras (centros de energía) y los miedos asociados a cada uno de ellos, es una explicación sencilla y poderosa para entender este tema tan importante, te comparto el extracto que conseguí en Youtube:
Mientras escribía me vinieron otras tantas animaciones a la mente como los Thundercats, Candy-Candy, Los Caballeros del Zodíaco, entre otras que me trajeron gratos recuerdos pero no incluí en el post para que no hacer un testamento.
Espero te haya gustado mi selección y mis justificaciones para escogerlas.

The older days of Anime

Before I start I must confess that I had to investigate the concept of "Anime" to clarify a doubt I had about it. Searching the internet I realized that this word is used to refer to "animations" of Japanese origin, which have their own characteristics and differentiating features compared to other types of animations, especially those of Western origin.
I have always been attracted to this type of animations, especially for the original and creative plot, the soundtrack and the touch of humor of their characterizations.
That said, I tell you a little of my favorite Animes:
Heidi
This animation shows us a beautiful and touching love story. Heidi is orphaned at a very young age and is taken with her grandfather to a place in the mountains, for neither of them it was easy to adapt to the new changes, however the charm and sweetness of Heidi captivated the heart of her grandfather.
Then Heidi is separated from her grandfather and taken to the city, another big shock for both of them, there she has new adventures and conquers other hearts with her childlike innocence.
This was one of the animations that I most watched with my sisters, we liked it very much because it was very fresh, it also had very beautiful landscapes and it was a captivating story, despite the circumstances that she had to live at such a young age, she was always a very cheerful girl.
Angel the Flower Girl
This was one of my favorite series, I loved this little girl descended from the fairies. She had a special mission to find a flower with the seven colors, and the whole plot is developed just in that adventure.
It was a very magical story, Angel could use the power of flowers with a magic key, she changed her look and acquired certain abilities that helped her to overcome the trials she faced.
Paradoxically, after so much traveling she found the flower she was looking for in her own garden. I think that's a great message of this series, I don't know if it was the intention, but now I see it as that long road we take looking for happiness, success and so many other things outside our garden and then we realize that all that is inside us.
Other extraordinary Anime that I enjoyed a lot (although they are not properly from the 90's) are:
Spirited Away
This is a movie with a very original plot, it tells the story of a 12-year-old girl who gets trapped in a magical world full of spirits and has to face a series of difficulties and tasks to rescue her parents. It won the Oscar for Best Animated Film in 2003, among other awards.
It has a lot of symbolism related to Japanese culture and also each character shows a problem of society. Its central theme: Chihiro's passage from childhood to maturity. I think the plot is a bit complex for children to understand, but it can still be enjoyed as a family.
One of the things I liked most about Chihiro is that when she started the movie she was a spoiled and whiny child, and that journey was a total transformation for her, she took on a lot of responsibilities and through her values of perseverance and work she managed to return to her world with her parents safe and sound.
The friendship of the main characters is also beautiful, without the strength of that union they would not have been able to get out of that world.

I feel that the plot, characters, comedic style and other elements such as the inclusion of martial arts, rituals and certain landscapes are very similar to those of Japanese origin.
I really enjoyed this series first because of the plot of the division into kingdoms characterized by the 4 elements and the powers that the Masters of each nation had, the fights were very exciting and it is also full of sobering messages.
The first time I saw it, I didn't appreciate many of these messages beyond the general plot about "maintaining the balance of the world, respecting the differences of each one of the nations", being the Avatar the one in charge of bringing order and peace to the world.
Then, I had the opportunity to watch the series again with my son (we have already watched it twice) and every time I watch it I notice something new or that I had not perceived before.
It also has an important spiritual connotation, for the characters to achieve greater strength and special connection with their power they have to make an internal journey of knowing themselves, face their fears and achieve that transcendent connection that makes them more powerful, beyond physical or brute strength.
In the animation there are many chapters where the Avatar learns valuable tools for life such as meditation, breathing, connection with their guides and spiritual masters. In fact one of the chapters makes an extraordinary explanation of the Chakras (energy centers) and the fears associated with each of them, it is a simple and powerful explanation to understand this important topic, I share with you the excerpt I got on Youtube:
