Hello friends, I hope you are all well, on a new occasion I find myself here sharing my contribution for the weekly Splinterlands art contest, on this occasion I have made a drawing of the Fungus Flinger card, the design of this card me It caught a lot of attention because it reminded me of the Pokemon with the design it has. On the other hand, he seemed like a tender creature to me, because of the look he has, so I wanted to exaggerate that look using cartoon techniques a little. I did the drawing in full color using Prismacolor Premier colored pencils on Canson paper, I hope it is Of your liking.
Hola amigos, espero que todos se encuentren muy bien, en una nueva oportunidad me encuentro aquí compartiendo mi aporte para el concurso semanal de arte de Splinterlands, en esta ocasión en he realizado un dibujo de la carta Fungus Flinger, el diseño de esta carta me llamó mucho la atención porque recordé a los Pokemons con el diseño que tiene. Por otra parte se me hizo una criatura tierna, por la mirada que tiene, así que esa mirada quise exagerarla usando un poco las técnicas de caricaturas, el dibujo lo hice a full color utilizando lápices de color Prismacolor Premier sobre papel Canson, espero que sea de su agrado.

I made the sketch of the figure with a white pencil and also with a very sharp pastel chalk, since the paper is gray, this helps the whites to be very intense when it comes to highlighting lights and shadows. The only detail I can find against this paper is that the surface has pores and it is suddenly difficult to fill in those small spaces, but otherwise it is an excellent surface for drawing.
Hice el boceto de la figura con un lápiz blanco y también con una tiza pastel muy afilada, ya que el papel es de un color gris, esto ayuda a que los blancos queden bien intensos cuando se trata de resaltar luces y sombras. El único detalle en contra que le encuentro a este papel es que la superficie tiene poros y de pronto es difícil rellenar esos pequeños espacios, pero del resto es una superficie excelente para dibujar.

The next step was to focus on the eyes, I had previously said that I found this creature adorable, and part of this is due to the look it has, a little lost and innocent, so I decided to change it radically without altering that tenderness. I made the eyes with strokes that I usually use to draw manga-style eyes, and I think I was able to convince myself with how they turned out.
El siguiente paso fue enfocarme en los ojos, había dicho anteriormente que esta criatura me parecía adorable, y parte de ello se debe a la mirada que tiene, un poco perdida y cono inocencia, así que decidí cambiarla radicalmente sin alterar esa ternura. Hice los ojos con trazos que suelo utilizar para dibujar ojos estilo manga, y creo que me logró convencer como quedaron.

Having the eyes painted the way I wanted them, I begin to paint the face, I use a mixture of white wax and white pastel chalk. In some shadowed parts I put a little light lilac color, and from there I begin to darken with that same range of colors.
Al tener los ojos pintados como los quería, comienzo a pinatr el rostro, utilizo una mezcla de color blanco de cera y tiza pastel también de color blanco. En algunas partes sombreadas le pongo un poco de color Lila claro, y a partir de ahí comenzar a oscurecer con esa misma gama de colores.

Next I begin to paint introducing new colors, in this case a turquoise green on the edges of the right side, which tells us that a light is coming. In this way I am also painting the inside of the body, which I have deformed like a cartoon to give my special touch to this drawing.
Seguidamente comienzo a pintar introduciendo nuevos colores, en este caso un verde turquesa por los bordes del lado derecho, el cual nos indica que viene una luz. Así tambien voy pintando al interior del cuerpo, el cual lo he deformado como una caricatura para darle mi toque especial a este dibujo.

Then I begin to decorate everything around this figure, such as painting the mushrooms, here I wanted to paint them with very bright colors so that they would look a little psychedelic, we already know what certain mushrooms cause when we ingest them. In the same way I began to paint the spheres that are all over the body.
Después comienzo a decorar todo el alrededor de esta figura, como por ejemplo pintar los hongos, aquí quise pintarlos con colores muy vivos para que estos quedaran un poco psicodélico, ya sabemos lo que causan ciertos hongos cuando los ingerimos. De la misma forma comencé a pintar las esferas que están por todo el cuerpo.

To finish, I paint some details, like that fire color that flows from the feet to the top, as well as a little turquoise green mixed with white around the edges, to further clarify the light reflection. And as a final detail, the trace of energy that flows through the hands, this is how I finish my Fungus Flinger fant art.
Para finalizar piento algunos detalles, como ese color fuego que brota desde los pies hacia la parte superior, lo mismo un poco de verde turquesa mezclado con blanco por los bordes, para aclarar más el reflejo de luz. Y como detalle final el rastro de energía que brota por las manos, así doy por finalizado mi fant art de Fungus Flinger.
