WHO IS SATHA TOLEDO?

Lady Zafira was an influential vizier of the Executus Infernum, the executive arm of the Torch that oversees the governance of Incaendium. But after the legions of Chaos laid siege to the city-state and it fell, the kalament of Medorgazar found dealing with the Torch and its sultan troublesome. They refused to simply accept their place as vassals, instead making ridiculous demands for Incaendium's efreet—things like health, safety, and happiness. As if the Chaos Empire owed them anything. And so, the kalament ordered the sultan and the Torch's viziers put to death.
Zafira was one of the few forewarned. She and those loyal to her fled from her estate, taking only what they could carry. Now, they live on the streets, helping the efreet of Incaendium survive and ensuring their will remains unbroken.
Their true identities, however, they conceal. For if the empire's goons were to discover that a vizier of the Torch still drew breath, Zafira and her attendants would find themselves on their knees beneath the executioner's scythe.
🎨THE MATERIALS USED AND THE ART PROCESS 🎨

Art Process:
I had a lot of fun making this art piece, I have also learned a lot in making a stylized version of Torch Vizier I tried my best to apply facial expressions in my drawing. So I started with the line art:
In this art entry I tried utilizing a reference for the pose and the facial expressions. I found this very helpful, as a beginner artis I do not have the mental capacity to imagine everything for my artwork so having a reference was a good move.
After finalizing the facial expression and the pose of our character I proceeded with applying the features that we can see in Torch Vizier such as the gem on her forhead, chain in her neck and her dress. And once done, in a new layer I added the base colors.
Here I started to render the face first, I do this because I want to start strong in my wek points and one of my weak points is the face. All the features are on different layers because I dont want to my permanent errors I might regret later.
Here I added rendering to the hair and started to render the cloths as well.
For me, rendering the hair is the most challenging of all for now. It takes me so much time just to be able to come up with good forms in the hair and render it properly. But I got it after a good night's rest, so I proceeded with more rendering. I also changed the background to black because I wanted to see how the highlights im going to apply will behave.
Her eI was done with the rendering of the sword and tthe cloth, I also started to apply highlight in. I added the glow on the sword which created thosse pink ambient light on the face and the rest of her body.
And for the final touch on my drawing 2 layers of shadows that will give that ready for battle look. It really helped a lot in making the final piece more attractive.
