As always, I started with a very rough sketch for the pose and composition of the character. 🙂 In the next image I try to do a grayscale method of this one. Checking my values if it looks good to proceed. 😁 alright unto the next step let's go!

In here, I added the base color. 😁 I did that by adding a layer set to multiply on top of the grayscale. To lighten it up add a layer set to overlay and fill in a color light yellow orange. In the next image I separate each parts of the character from head to the body and arms. Fill in the right colors I also setting up the background.

And here, I switch up the lamp to the other side of it's hand coz I realized it could be a focal point of interest so I put it forward. I'm still discovering here what would be my background that make the composition and the character better. In the next image I finalized the render and decided to shift the atmospheric perspective to color purple. I also add some lava fluid flowing in the rocks and to the background.
Final Artwork:

Decided to put it in the card to see how it looks and I'm happy with the result.😌 This is my 2nd 2024 splinterlands contest submission. I will be adding this to my collection of fan art and compile it by the end of this year. I wonder how much I can improve by then.😌
✨That's it DONE!✨
You made it to the end of this post. I really appreciate your time and attention. Keep up the good work and have fun! Until next art illustration stay tuned😁
Thank you very much!
