Hola Hivers, esta semana escogí la carta épica de tipo muerte Dark Enchantress para el concurso de #splinterlands de esta semana. Una carta que tenía pendiente por hacer.
Hi Hivers, this week I chose the epic death type card Dark Enchantress for this week's #splinterlands contest. A card I had pending to make.
Como es habitual, comencé realizando un boceto detallado de personaje, creo que entre más le dedico a hacer un buen boceto, el resultado final me gusta más.
Continúe agregando los tonos bases en sus respectivas capas y fusionándolas con el boceto para luego con ayuda de una capa en modo luz fuerte o multiplicar hacer el sombreado general de cada capa.
As usual, I started by making a detailed character sketch, I think the more I dedicate to make a good sketch, the more I like the final result.
I continued adding the base tones in their respective layers and merging them with the sketch, and then with the help of a layer in hard light or multiply mode I made the general shading of each layer.
Luego pase a pulir y pintar toda la pieza siendo el cabello lo que más tiempo le dedique, quería que se viera sedoso y como en movimiento.
Para el fondo realice algo simple, use figuras geométricas y degradados para hacer un cielo nocturno junto a una imagen de la luna que ajuste para que se viera algo más estilizada y añadí las estrellas que tienen un efecto de desenfoque.
Then I went on to polish and paint the whole piece being the hair what I spent more time on, I wanted it to look silky and as if it was moving.
For the background I did something simple, I used geometric shapes and gradients to make a night sky with an image of the moon that I adjusted to make it look more stylized, and I added the stars that have a blur effect.
Para terminar, use los efectos y filtro de capas habituales para ajustar los tonos y la textura de la ilustración.
