Hola Hivers, esta ocasión, escogí la carta épica de tipo agua para el concurso de #splinterlands de esta semana.

Hi Hivers, this time, I chose the epic water type card for this week's #splinterlands contest.

Quería hacer otra sirena, así que este personaje me pareció genial para realizarlo, así que comencé con un boceto para ubicar los elementos y además añadir otros para ajustar el diseño más a mi gusto personal.

I wanted to make another mermaid, so this character seemed great to realize it, so I started with a sketch to place the elements and also add others to adjust the design more to my personal taste.

Luego ubique los tonos bases, quería usar colores vivos y que contrastarán un poco entre sí, quería trasmitir delicadeza y belleza.

Para luego pasar a pintar el personaje en varias capas distintas, mantuve el enfoque en el rostro, así que pase la mayoría del tiempo trabajando allí, luego pase a hacer el resto de la ilustración, como el cabello y la cola, dándole ese contraste como iridiscente
muy llamativo.

Then I placed the base colors, I wanted to use bright colors that would contrast a little with each other, I wanted to convey delicacy and beauty.

Then I painted the character in several different layers, I kept the focus on the face, so I spent most of the time working there, then I did the rest of the illustration, like the hair and the tail, giving it that iridescent contrast, very striking.

Use varios pinceles e imágenes con texturas para darle más personalidad al dibujo. Para el fondo mantuve un fondo marino simple con algunas rocas corales y peces, etc., con tonos más oscuros, además de la capa de ruido y algunas transparencias.

I used various brushes and textured images to give the drawing more personality. For the background I kept a simple seabed with some coral rocks and fish, etc., with darker tones, plus the noise layer and some transparencies.
