Hello guys, Im joining the Splinterlands DAO contest with this entry. I decided make a new SPS dao crystal logo for this contest. I made it blue for a change with some extra effects around it. The design of the shard is pretty obvious. It's an 'S' which is the first letter of the game. This style also gives it a lightning feel to show how awesome it is hehe.

The process
- I drew a rough sketch first then made clean lineart with dip pen later. After that I painted in the base colour which is blue.
- To get that crystal texture I clipped a multiply layer on the base layer and created dark blue strokes of different opacity.
- After that I changed the lineart colour to whitish blue and added a small glow behind the back of the shard.
- Made the background in dark purple. Added a purple lensflare behind the logo and painting some highlights in low opacity on top to get that shiny effect. Added white glow using airbrush on the poity sides of the crystal. After that I added the Splinterlands element logo and sps label in a low opacity mode.
- Added purple lines on the four edges. Also used purple lines around the crystal as well to form a connection between the sps dao label and the Splinterlands elements logo and the shard.
