Greetings my dear Hive community!!!
Hello, hello, dear Hivers and Splinterlands fans!!!
Here I am again to present you, this time, the illustration I made to participate in the #Splinterlands weekly art contest. For this week I made an OC, a little dark, according to me she would be like the Splinter of death since they are the ones I like the most in the game, following that line I would make my character.
The story was longer but I made a summary...
A little girl was the result of a relationship that was cursed for treason. It was impossible for her to walk, the ailments were endless and increasingly unbearable. Her parents combined alchemy and witchcraft, determined to find a cure to free her daughter, they did everything but nothing works, it was impossible to end the suffering of the little girl... Desperate, they resorted to the only thing that could perhaps serve. The father made a mechanism to merge his body with some demons which would serve him to lead a normal life in exchange for feeding them with fresh blood, the only thing missing was for the mother, being a powerful witch, to do the rest. After several rather dangerous sacrifices and rituals, they completed the difficult task.
Everything seemed to be going well, several positive changes were reflected in the little girl, it was a success and the parents were finally happy to have ended the curse.
In reality the demons had other plans, what was once pure became an insatiable unstoppable hunter with brutal force, evil ran through her blood and she liked it, her parents, her first victim. Over the years she became more feared, she just wanted to drain whoever she wanted to be in front of her, she sowed chaos and no one was able to stop her........

I did the sketch pretty quickly. Some lines there, the idea of this occurred to me when I created what her life would be like, after I was already a little clear about what it was, I already had a place to start and although the sketch is something basic, it was good start it like this, I had a better vision of what I wante---
-.-

To take the first steps with the base, although on this occasion I did not use a gray at all, but still, in a certain way, I added some volume to better identify what I had in front of me , a soft base and a continue.
-.-

As I went along, I was fixing a lot of things that were missing, a lot of changes that I was making. Actually, I didn't do it in the sketch, because I didn't want to spend a lot of time on it, it was just the idea that served as a springboard for the rest, it's always with the option of changes π
-.-

What I was solving was the underlying problem. It was actually a black background at first and I didn't have a lot going on about it. But then I changed it to a bit more of a night background. I took a drawing that I had already done and arranged it, modified it for this drawing. I didn't do much in the way of changes, just tweaked a few things. Not that it took a long time, I also made some changes in terms of arm position, I thought was a bit weird.π₯΅
-.-

I changed as I went along and the truth is that I had a little more vision of the character. I already had what were shadows, something more detailed in terms of colors, things like that. He had also placed what were some runes, some seals, . To do this, I did a lot of research on demonology and discovered several demons that I thought I could carry with the attitude or manner of this character. That information also helped me for something else, so I learned about that as well. If you know about symbols, you can see that some of the symbols that I've put here in this drawing have a meaning, a meaning that can represent one demon or another. I tried to make it more realistic in that sense also some symbols that represent water, earth, air and that kind of thing.
-.-

In the last steps, all I had to do was accentuate the colors, which were a bit pale, some detail in the lines, this was something a bit more rustic. It's not like other characters I usually do, where I detail a lot of things and the lines generally tend to be more verbose. These were the last few steps and I just had to finish a few other things, some details and that kind of thing to get everything done.

In the end, after making several adjustments, several corrections and several things that were missing, others that I decided to change because they did not convince me, in reality I was missing many things in the previous step such as hair and other things. I had to do a few details, some separations in terms of some lines that I had because some things stuck together. After that, I had the character ready.
See you next time!!! π€ππ
