Good day friends! And dear community!!!
Today I want to present to you what I did recently, well, actually not so recent π€ because I had planned to publish something else today, but with the magic πͺπͺ of the power outage, everything got messed up. It'll be for later.
So, I'll show you something I had saved from a few days ago when the electricity went out too, β οΈπ€£π how strange! I did some experiments with some charcoal. In fact, since I bought them, I had never used them, so this was a first attempt π€ππ π.
Mmmm I didn't follow any structure, in fact it was pretty crazy to use it because if I placed my hands, I could lose what I had done whattttttt I don't know if that happens to everyone π€ππ€£.
I made a video for this and indeed, I edited it to upload, but well, my internet said, "No! Don't even think about it! 200mb is too much for me. Settle for a few images!" It's either that or nothing, so I complied π₯πͺπππ.

Alright, to kick off this drawing, I grabbed a couple of things:
- A charcoal stick.
- A paper for pastel chalks.
- My phone to record the video, although I couldn't upload it.
- And a homemade tripod π.
Nothing more! Just a lot of good vibes to play with the charcoal in my hands.ππ₯³
-.-
I didn't bother with sketches for this drawing; it was more random. But what I gotta say is, well, I have zero experience with charcoal, so I ran into a few hiccups while drawing because I don't know if it's expired π€π΅, does charcoal even expire? π€π΅π΅π Or maybe it's the paper; I'll try another canvas. π€£
-.-
It looked like a pretty weird doll, but well, it'll make a bit more sense later π€, I hope so. It was a pretty odd combination π€£.
-.-
I've smoothed it out a bit with my hand to emphasize it a bit more later, so now I've got my hands covered in charcoal ππ.
-.-
As I progressed, what I had started was a little better, although I erased sometimes to improve what I had done, other times I stained what I did with my hands ππ, this was very different.
-.-
I want to get an eraser π΅, because erasing so much charcoal or even graphite is kind of tricky. This time, I used an old electric eraser that helped me clean up some things, but I think I'd prefer a kneaded eraser πβΊοΈπ π.
-.-

I got some pretty good brushes that helped me detail and improve a little more what I wanted to do in this drawing. I hope to continue learning to use that type of material better ππππ.
Although using them means the electricity is out πππΈππͺπ.
Thanks to everyone for watching my post, and have a happy and beautiful weekend
