Greetings Hive!!! Triz here!!
Good afternoon dear community!
I'm a little lost but here I am again to show you some works that I was sent to make for a project that will come very soon, I can not give more details of names or other data because I do not want to infringe on their terms so, I just come to show you what is the designs that I was asked to create for this project.
The first character they asked me to make was the legendary Ragnar Lodbrok... I felt super mega happy since I love the Norse history and the Viking warriors. I could say that I am a big fan of these warriors, (Although they did a lot of damage wherever they went, their story intrigues me a little).
Another good part for me is that I was free to work as I wanted. Of course, with their supervision in case there was something to remove or add, so I got down to work and this is what I show you today.
I hope you like it. π
Some images of the process
Step 1οΈβ£
- First I started making a "somewhat rough" sketch but I didn't want something nice or well done, I just wanted something to give me an idea of how I was going to work on the design.
-.-
Step 2οΈβ£
- In this part, after being a little satisfied with the position and making many corrections, I began to place things on it and also began to paint.
-.-
Step 3οΈβ£
- Already here I was detailing very little some things in the skin and I made the fur coat and the rest were small things.
-.-
Step 4οΈβ£
- Here I decided to put clothes on him since before I was thinking of leaving him naked. I also began to detail a little better the arm that has the axe and began to place the shadows.
-.-
Step 5οΈβ£
- In the last steps I detailed better everything, from the clothes to the coat... I made some details to the axe and added some viking symbols, I also made the brooch on the chest that holds the coat and finished the straps that he has on the body.
-.-
Step 6οΈβ£
- After adding lights on the body I also made a touch of blood on the axe, the hairs of the coat and detail the hair and beard in addition to his facial features... and as a last detail I added the characteristic tattoos of these great warriors.
-.-
Final result π
In this part after showing the final result the people who hired me told me that it was excellent but I had to make a background more representative of the Vikings because they did not want flat backgrounds ... so I did something like a kind of battlefield with the pennants and crows around waiting to go to eat the flesh of the fallen.
With that I finished my work... I hope that those who see this post liked it and I'll see you tomorrow to show you another of the designs I made for this project.
