Greetings my dear Hive community!!!
Hello, hello, my dear community!!!
A new day, a new post. This time I come with an illustration that I've been planning to do for several weeks since the day I saw the "Twisted Metal" series. However, between different things, I kept postponing it until yesterday, when I finally decided to do it.
I made the Sweet Tooth character, because I liked him the most, plus I like bad clowns, and this one is bad, very bad. π«£π€
The truth is that I also played this game a lot in my high school days, so I did not hesitate to wait to see the series since months ago I found out it was coming. When I saw it... I liked it, although there were some things I didn't like so much. However, in general, I consider it acceptable to watch and have a good time. So, if you haven't seen it yet... I recommend it.
I thought about putting the fire in his head, but then I gave up on that idea since in the series he didn't have the fire until the... (spoiler) ending. So I didn't do it this time. Maybe later, some other time I'll do it again and be a bit more faithful to the real character in the videogame. Although in the various installments they've changed it at different times, I'll see what I do if that day comes.
Now, as usual... a little bit of the process of how I made this new illustration. πππ

Between humming the music of "Sweet Tooth", I worked on this sketch between spots until I got more or less what I wanted.
The colours emerged when I applied a layer with the "overlay" fusion mode and I was moulding "Sweet Tooth" much more until I had it more complete, as you can see in this point. Between spots and small details I continued for a while.
At this point, I worked on the eyes and detailed more the straps on the head and chest, as well as the buckles, as the previous steps lacked a lot of rendering.
Here I think I had everything too dark, so I decided to add a bit more light on the back to give it a bit more clarity. I also rendered the mask more and finished detailing the straps.
n this part, I added the background and looking at what the character looked like in the series, I thought it still lacked volume, so I enlarged it a bit to the sides to make it look a bit fuller.
At this point, I sharpened the colours a bit and added some lights and shadows on different parts of the body.

To finish my work, I completed what I was missing, added some blood on the mask and basically that was it. Thanks to all of you who see my work and I hope you liked my new publication.
Good night everyone and see you tomorrow!!! π€πππ΄π΄π΄
